Bird News Thursday 11th November.

8 Waxwing in flight over the Shankill Road, Belfast (D.Weir)
60 Waxwings now at Ballycastle! (G.Campbell)
20 Waxwings Moygashel, Dungannon
10 Redwing in flight Mallusk

In Co. Tyrone a Red Kite was seen at along the Aughnacloy Road, Dungannon (D. Coney) That's 30-odd miles (as the kite flies) from the release site in Co. Down - a good sign! (they're taking over the world)

In Co. Antrim 75 Black-tailed Godwit were at Whitehouse Lagoon and 50 Turnstone were on the beach at Carnlough.

Ian Wray from Portadown had a good day yesterday. He was visiting a customer in Fintona Co.Tyrone yesterday and came across the following: Mandarin Duck,Carolina Wood Duck, Bahama Pintail, Ring Teal' Red Breasted Goose, Maine Geese,Red Legged Partridge,Grey Partridge and Golden Pheasant!
No Ian is not the biggest stringer this side of Cork City these were seen in a private collection!
