Bird News Wednesday 17th November

The male Ferruginous Duck was still at Corbet Lough, Banbridge (Tom Ennis)

The adult Ring Billed Gull was still at Portrush.

What a rubbish day and no birds to report (except the birds listed above and the Waxwings and 5 Little Egrets at Dundrum Inner Bay South, Co. Down) (so far) confusing? yes

Wahey! Some Waxwings! 5 were on rowans at Birch Green, Glengormley, Co. Antrim (Martin Monahan)

At the River Lagan Belfast today the Common Sandpiper and 7 Black Guillemot were seen. (Ronald Surgenor)
