In England!
Ally T had a female Pheasant while having a very pleasant lunch at the New Inn Bar and Restaurant at Eccup near Adel. Red Wine was involved which is pretty shocking at this time of the day. Who does she think she is one of the Hadricks? We hope the standard of the sightings improves as well.

Speaking of the Hadricks....

It's...........Fuerteventura Update!!!
'Big adventure today to keep Derek happy: travelled about 10 minutes (from villa by car). Houbara Bustard, Plain Swift, Canary Islands Chat (lots), Lesser Short-toed Lark, Berthelot's Pipit, Southern Grey Shrike, Spectacled Warbler, Sardinian Warbler and Stone Curlew. '

Rumour has it their Fuerteventuran Odyssey may come of the rails if they find a supermarket that sells Asturian sidra.

Its...... its..... the Blaskets update!
Tim and Chris have found a Woodchat Shrike on their first evening migrant hunting on the Blasket Islands off Kerry!

Thanks to Allen Gillespie for this Great Crested Grebe shot from Lough Neagh - no prizes for guessing what picture of the day is, thanks Allen

Thanks to Nigel Snell for sending in these photos of randy Sandwich Terns (the oystercatchers don't seem too bothered by their antics.......the perverts)
