Another first for the blog!

Ronald Surgenor was out fishing for Mackeral and Tope yesterday in Carlingford Lough. A 48lb Tope was caught, tagged and released as part of an ongoing Irish Study. Ronald also seen Manx Shearwater, Storm Petrels and Common Scoter. He has kindly sent us a couple of photos and include a first for the blog, a stunning photo of a Storm Petrel, thanks Ronald!

And Ronald knows its best to always send us a Gull photo as well, this time a superb image of a Kittiwake! Its not really a true gull its far too cute!
