Bird News Monday 27th June

For all you Bee-eater fans out there the REAL location of the Bee-eater at Donaghadee was the Killaughey Road - hmmm, it seems it would have been better if the nobirds team were operating a telegram service.

In Co. Down:
2 Spotted Flycatcher were at the Ulster Wildlife Centre, Crossgar

A pair of Spotted Flycatcher were feeding 3 young at Castle Espie (John Edwards)

A Reed Warbler was at the Conservation area on the Harbour Estate

2 Whooper Swan, a Greenshank, a Black-tailed Godwit and 3 Wigeon were at Dundrum Inner Bay South (I don't believe it)

The pair of Mandarin Duck were still at Newcastle Boating Lake

In Co.Fermanagh
A Crossbill was seen in flight at Monea. (Brad Robson)
