Bird News Saturday 25th June

On 23rd a Bee-Eater was apparently photgraphed at Donaghadee.

In Co.Antrim

2 Whinchat and 2 Spotted Flycatcher Glenwherry.
Dipper at Owencloghy
And a good few Buzzards and Kestrels in Antrim Hills!

At the RSPB Reserve 500+ Common Terns, 100+ Arctic Terns, 20 Bar Tailed Godwits, 50 Blact Tailed Godwits, 3 Dunlin were present among the commoner speccies. 3 Shovelor in eclipse were also seen.

At Kinnegar Pool a Common Sandpiper was seen.

A Bee Orchid was at Kinnegar and Greater Butterfly Orchids in the Antrim Hills (photos next week!)
