Bird News Wednesday 8th June

In County Donegal
A Male Dressers Eider was found today at Isle of Doagh, Inishowen Co.Donegal. It was between Carrigabraghy Castle and Galshedy Island. This could be the bird which was first seen at Fanad Head 2 winters ago which was the first Western Palearctic record.(Ronan McLaughlin)

In Co. Down:
The 2 Whooper Swan were still at Dundrum Inner Bay South
