Dressers Eider

Congratulations to Ronan McLoughlin who found Irelands second Dressers Eider at Doagh Isle, Inishowen today. Ronan has kindly sent us photos and instructions on how to get to get to the site.
Best viewed from Carrickabraghy castle on
the Isle of Doagh, coming from Derry drive to carndonagh on the R242,
continue towards Ballyliffin for approximately 3 miles, the right hand
side of the road, just before Ballyliffin golf club, head for the Doagh
famine village on the isle of Doagh. Continue towards the village and
then keep left. Drive through the farm at the end, Carrickabraghy
castle is on your right and view Glashedy island to the west, bird is
viewable from this area.
