Bird News Friday 16th March

In Glorious Co. Down:
A Mediterranean Gull, coming into 2nd summer plumage, was at Killyleagh harbour. Sandwich Tern also. (David Nixon)

In Co. Antrim:
A 2nd winter Iceland Gull was still at McConnell Weir, River Lagan. A Sparrowhawk was at Stranmillis (Ronald Surgenor)

An adult Kumlien's Gull and a 1st winter Mediterranean Gull were at Glynn, Larne Lough (D. Charles)

In Co. Armagh:
4 Yellowhammers were at Richhill

A Merlin was at Reedy Flat and a Pink-footed Goose at Ardmore Pt. (D. Charles)
