Bird News Friday 9th March

In Co. Armagh:
The Tundra Bean Goose, 2 Pinkfooted Goose and 35 Russian White-fronts were at Reedy Flat. (Derk)

In Co. Down:
The Rough-legged Buzzard, 2 Common Buzzard and a Short-eared Owl were at Chapel Island, Strangford Lough. 4 White-fronted Geese were north of Greyabbey. An adult Med Gull was south of Kircubbin (Geoff Campbell)

In Co. Londonderry/ Derry:
6 Yellowhammers were just outside Knockloughrim (Dermot Hughes)

Here's some non-gull shots from Stephen Maxwell. Although, I've had a few ciders so it kinda looks like an Audouin's Gull.
