Bird News Tuesday 27th March

Ronald Surgenor says its not the end of the gull season at least as far as he is concerned and he sent us this great gull photo. Ronald says could we post more Kumliens Gulls photos as they are his favourite

In Co.Antrim: A Willow warbler was singing at Bog Meadows this morning (Dermot Hughes)
13 Iceland and a Glaucous Gull at Corbally Dam, Portrush. Flapline didnt lead with this, if i had reported this and they lead with Chiffchaffs i wouldnt report anything to them again! OK i dont anyway. Rememeber no need to ring old Flapline as we will put all the good stuff on here. Save 70p a week thats nearly the cost of a 1st class stamp, i hope the Nobirders send me my report before the price increase save them 14p!

In Co.Fermanagh: A first winter Iceland Gull was at Enniskillen Tip (Brad Robson)

In Co.Londonderry: 3 Sand Martins were near Garvagh (D.Allen et al)

In Co.Cork: No sign of the Red Flanked Bluetail, typical behaviour from an escaped bird.

In Co. Down: 1x goldcrest, comber greenway, dundonald (Stephen Maxwell)...and here's some shots from Stephen
