Bird News Tuesday 2nd October

Star billing goes to the Buff Bellied Pipit that was seen this afternoon at Carrickfergus Co.Antrim. It continues to be elusive and wasnt seen in the morning or late evening.
Just down the road at Sandy Bay Larne the adult winter Bonapartes Gull was seen again. An adult Meditterean Gull and a late juvenile Common Tern were seen Monday evening (Neal Warnock)

In Co.Down: A Lapland Bunting and 6 Pink Footed Geese were at Briggs Rocks

In Co.Londonderry: A Merlin was at Magilligan Lough Foyle (Christine Cassidy)

In Co.Donegal: A Yellow Browed Warbler and Chiffchaff were at the Magic Garden in Malinbeg (Dave Allen)

What about the Nobirders now reporting escaped Parakeets? Where will it end, an escaped Pooch maybe someones Tortoise goes on the rampage?
