Greenland Wheatear

Thanks to Christine Cassidy for these Greenland Wheatear photos from Ballykelly Lough Foyle. We think they should be split from Northern Wheatear not least to give us another tick. 200 bird species in a year in Northern Ireland is the magic figure and one guy is on target this year, he shall remain nameless but runs a Jazz Cafe in Dunmurry! But we are not letting him count Kumliens Gull, White Wagtail and male and female House Sparrow so he will have to do it the hard way! We are counting Russian Whitefront as we think that is a good species and might consider Black Brant only no-one has seen one!
