Bird News over the weekend!

 In Co.Donegal: The Bittern, Cattle Egret and around 20 Pinkfooted Geese were still all present and correct. Thanks to Geoff Campbell for this Cattle Egret photo

In Co.Londonderry: A single Greenland Whitefront was with 200 Greylags at Myroe

In Co.Down: On Saturday a Black Redstart was at Corbetts Beach although there was no sign of the Buff Bellied Pipits (Clifford Sharpe, Joe Devlin)
At Tyrella beach on Sunday 3 Twite and a Red Kite were seen a male Long Tailed Duck off Murlough NNR (Keith Bennett)
A male Ring Necked Duck was at Lough Money on Saturday (Derek Charles, Majella Callaghan, Walter Veale) It was still present on Sunday (Keith Bennett)
A hybrid Black Brant was at Murlough Bay North on Saturday (Derek Charles et al)

In Co.Antrim: The adult Bonapartes Gull was at Larne Harbour (Gavin Ferguson)
2 Goosander were at Portmore. One is a male probably a 1stw and the other a "redhead" although it could also be a 1stw male (Derek Charles, Majella Callaghan)

In Co.Armagh: The Little Gull is still at Craigavon.
Thanks to Stephen Maxwell for this photo of the 3rd winter Ring Billed Gull at Groomsport. We see the sneaky Nobirders have changed it to a 3rdw after reeporting it as an adult all winter! Clever guys.
