Bird News over the weekend!

In Co.Down: The male Green Winged Teal was still at Barr Hall Bay (Keith Bennett)
2 Black Throated Diver were off Greyabbey and the 3rdw Ring Billed Gull at Groomsport (Richard Weyl)
A first winter Glaucous Gull was at Ardglass (Keith Bennett)
The male Ring Necked Duck was also still at Lough Money (Keith Bennett)
And the Black Redstart was also seen again at Tyrella Beach
2 Slavonian Grebe were at Whiterock, Strangford Lough

Waxwings and Bramblings widely reported in small numbers although 50 Waxwings were at Glenhill Park, Belfast (C.Veale)

In Co.Antrim: The 2ndw Iceland Gull was at McConnells Weir all weekend although not when we were there, we blame Scud Chef!
We are also pretty certain there wasnt 200 Twite at Flatfields as per Flapline / Lifeline, Nobirds. Come on guys!
A 2ndwinter Glaucous Gull was at Whitehouse Lagoon

In Co.Armagh: The Little Gull was still at Craigavon North Lake
Oxford Island had the hybrid female Ferruginous Duck the returning individual from last winter

In Donegal: The Bittern showed well on Saturday afternoon, watched going to roost (Brad Robson / Matthew Tickner. At least 1 male Smew still present.
