You will notice that there isnt a single Leaf or Moth in these photos. I think we should set up land mines for the Leaf Miners its all they deserve really. Some lovely Turnstones

Derek - you deserve this

You're such a great guy Derek - that's why I've got these leafmine pics just for you

Phylloporia bistrigella - tasty

Stigmella glutinosae - 3rd NI record, fantastic

Stigmella luteella, bloody lovely

Leaf Miners are sick people, i know a couple of them and they are sick. Trying to claim Northern Ireland firsts by photographing leaves is just bizzare and points to low personal esteem and a lifetime of drug abuse. Normal people in autumn go to islands off Ireland for a week and walk about and dphotograph a Spotted Flycatcher, perfectly normal

Even Merlin the Magicican couldnt turn a Red Tailed Hawk into a Steppe Buzzard but those Nobirds guys can, that really is magic and why they must never stop! Here are some real Merlin photos, i wonder what Nobirds would call them if i sent them to them and said that i took the photos on Rathlin? Penguin perhaps, Albatross quite possibly but it clearly isnt a Merlin!
